Home sales up 55% in Calgary, prices drop 3%
CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Home sales are going up in Calgary while prices continue a downward trend through the pandemic.
A report from the Canadian Real Estate Association shows sales have gone up nearly 55 per cent in June compared to May.
Sales also rose in other major markets around the country.
The home prices in Calgary are down around three per cent from the same time last year. In comparison, the average national price is up more than six per cent from last year.
